Description
The assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 was a dark day that has been surrounded by subsequent mystery.
Visit The Sixth Floor Museum, located on the sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository (where Lee Harvey Oswald took the fatal shot), an exhibit examining the life, death and legacy of John F. Kennedy. (audio-guided tour)
Next, visit Dealey Plaza for a tour of the area where the President was assassinated. See the actual motorcade route and placement of witnesses, including where the Zapruder film was made.
Following, we will drive by: Parkland Hospital where Kennedy was taken, Oswald’s rooming house, the scene of Dallas Police Officer Tippit’s shooting, the Texas Theater where Oswald was apprehended, and even the Dallas City Jail where Jack Ruby shot Oswald. A fascinating look at what many people deem to be “the greatest mystery of our times.”

Enjoy a tour of the Mary Kay Cosmetics Headquarters. Mary Kay is one of the most recognizable businesses across the globe with more than 900,000 consultants in 33 countries. The tour includes the history museum, and Mary Kay’s own office and guests will receive a small gift for attending.
Lunch at Jeroboam’s. With innovative cuisine, design and location this fabulous dining locale has a sophisticated urban feel and great food. Located in the historic Kirby Building on Main Street, Jeroboam’s orientation is as a community restaurant with a modern interpretation of traditional French food, an enlightening all-French wine list, early 20th century design and a classic, attentive style of service, places it at top of Dallas’ downtown renaissance.
After lunch we visit The Women’s Museum, a branch of the Smithsonian Institution. The Women’s Museum, once a deteriorating Dallas opera hall, has found new life as the nation’s first major museum dedicated solely to the contributions of women in American life. Enjoy a self guided tour at the museum, where you will have the opportunity to see a three-story exhibit hall featuring interactive display’s and a “Women’s Walk of Fame” celebrating historic milestones.
Tour 3: Cowgirl (Or Playgirl!) for a Day!

Description
Pull on your boots and get ready to kick up your heels for a day of real Texas fun at Circle R Ranch! We head for an authentic 60-acre ranch nestled among rolling hills and green pastures in the North Texas countryside.
Upon arrival, hop aboard horse-drawn hay wagons for a leisurely ride. For the more adventurous, horsemanship clinics will be conducted to help guests brush up on the basics of horses and then take a guided trail-ride through the hills and brush of the ranch.
Enjoy the beautiful outdoors or loll in a seat at the Chisholm Ranch House. Listen to the music lingering in the background. Stroll over to see the horses or visit a rather large longhorn.
Soon the aroma of the Texas-style barbecue calls you to lunch at the Chisholm.
The watering hole comes complete with a variety of soft drinks and iced tea.
A roller roper (mechanical calf
roping), volleyball, and horseshoes will keep good-natured competition going
all day long. For those looking to learn the latest in cowgirl moves, line
dance instruction will also be available. After a Texas sized meal and some
Texas-sized tales (and tails!), the guests will ride back to the big city
as certified cowgirls.
