IPEG Long Term Research Fund (LTRF)

The IPEG mission of education, research and improved patient care has been primarily expressed through our annual congress. To date we have hosted 20 state-of-the-art meetings. Our society vision has expanded to include research and education. To this end the IPEG Executive Committee has formed the IPEG Long Term Research Fund (LTRF). The primary goal of the LTRF is to award grants to IPEG members for research.

Congratulations to 2011 Research Grant Award Winner, Dr. Todd A. Ponsky. Dr. Ponsky will be presenting his work entitled, “Long-Gap Pure Esophageal Atresia: Development of a Survival Rabbit Model and Minimally Invasive Repair Techniques,” during the 2012 Congress.
