AN INTRODUCTION TO CANNES
IPEG invites you to Cannes, the European Film Festival capital, lying on the shores of a vast bay, halfway between Monaco and Saint-Tropez. The coastline
around Cannes has several miles of beaches and its Provencal roots have entranced stars, artists, writers, poets and visitors alike. Avenues lined with palm trees and flower beds, grand restaurants and luxury boutiques, prestigious residences, casinos, superb public gardens and a vast yachting marina, a long pedestrian promenade dotted with blue chairs – these are just some of the features that have earned the Croisette its nickname, “the Champs Elysées of the Riviera”.
